what this season was for

There are seasons of life that feel confusing not because something is wrong, but because something is being formed.

For a long time, I didn’t have language for what I was experiencing. I just knew that life had expanded in ways I couldn’t control, and the freedom I once associated with purpose just didn't exist in the same way. Motherhood had changed so much. My time, my body, my capacity, my rhythms, and I low-key wondered if it had changed me.

Not in the obvious ways, but in the deeper ones.

I loved my children beyond words, yet I still felt the tension of responsibility and the loss of ease. I was still creative, still driven, still called, but the way I could move through the world had definitely shifted...and shifted fast. And instead of being given space to name that honestly, I felt a lot of pressure to adjust quickly, stay grateful, and keep producing as if nothing had changed.

But something did change.

What I didn’t realize at the time was that I wasn’t losing myself, I was being refined. (I still get chills when I think about it).

Scripture reminds us that seasons of pressure are not random. In Deuteronomy 8, God speaks about the wilderness not as punishment, but as preparation. A place where identity is clarified, dependence is strengthened, and remembrance becomes essential. Looking back, (just wow!) I can see how much of my life was shaped right there in the quiet, unseen work of becoming.

PREVAIL was born from that understanding.

This body of work is not about hustle, visibility, or striving to get back to who I was before. It’s about recognizing that who I am now carries depth, discernment, and capacity that could only be formed through responsibility.

Motherhood never interrupted my purpose. It most definitely refined it.

PREVAIL exists for women who feel this same tension but don’t have language for it. Women who are creative, faithful, and deeply invested in the lives they’re stewarding, but yet sense that something in them is still unfolding.

It is a space for alignment instead of pressure. For remembrance instead of striving. For legacy instead of urgency.

With love,

The Assignment Is Still Valid

There are moments in life when God gives you an idea, a vision, or an assignment that feels both exciting and terrifying at the same time. It’s the kind of vision that doesn’t always make sense to eve
